Will Edward James Olmos Be in Venice?

Blade Runner: The Final Cut will premiere at the Venice Film Festival in on September First. The film is a longer and more intricate version of the original, which was revolutionary at the time.

Director Ridley Scott made the new version to celebrate the 25th anniversary of a film that, like Battlestar Galactica, asked us to question whether machines should rights if they have self-awareness and individual will. Also like Battlestar Galactica, Blade Runner starred a stern Edward James Olmos.

Will Eddie be in Venice for the celebration? No news yet, but seeing BSG stars on a red carpet is always a treat so we can hope he finds his way … to Venice.
