Weinstein Co. Buys Tricia Helfer’s Dominatrix Movie

Great news for fans of Battlestar Galactica’s Number Six, Tricia Helfer, who have been anxious to see her performance as a dominatrix in Walk All Over Me: the Weinstein Company bought the movie last week and is already making plans for its distribution.
The distribution deal was made after the film’s strong buzz at the Toronto International Film Festival earlier this month, where Tricia seemed to be everywhere promoting the film. She is doing even more promotion for the film at the Calgary International Film Festival this weekend, this time taking her parents along for the whirlwind. No early reviews are available yet, apparently the film’s Canadian distributor is planning to release it in the next few months and wanted to hush keep reviews undercover until closer to that date.
The trailer for the movie is also popular on YouTube, although it features much more of Leelee Sobieksi than Tricia. It’s being billed as a comedy and a thriller, which is an interesting combination and hopefully one that does not veer too much in the dreaded direction of torture porn.
Walk All Over Me has the potential to be a solid hit simply based on the description of the plot and the costumes, especially once the show hits DVD.
