Romo Lampkin. What he knows about Blatar?

For a defense attorney, Romo Lampkin appears to know more about Baltar than meets the eye. It’s almost as if he’s been inside Baltar’s head for some time. One of my friends argued that perhaps Romo is from Baltar’s past, and the lunatic doesn’t remember him from Adam. That’s not a bad point. Romo just seems unusually close for a lawyer, and that makes me uncomfortable with him. He has some strange, almost lurid attachment towrds Baltar, that makes me think they were almost related in some way, either by tribe, or perhaps being a long lost family member. There’s more than just an arrogant interest in getting fame, and giving his client a good defense.
And he’s getting a bit paranoid around Lee Adama, although Lee put his reputation on the line with his grilling of president Roslin, due to the re-appearance of her
cancer, and making it seem that her medicine was disabling her ability to govern. I can only imagine the ostracism Lee will be feeling in the next coming episodes, even if Baltar is convicted. Romo needs to be watched. If I were Admiral Adama I’d put a spy on him, for the protection of the fleet. That might be fair, but hell, we’re talking about upcoming events, that will make or break it for the Colonials. I’d rather be overly suspicious, than be unprepared. Your thoughts?
