Pix of Grace Park at the Asian Excellence Awards

On Saturday we talked about how Grace Park was hosting the Asian Excellence Awards with Daniel Dae Kim from Lost this year, and the hope was to post some pix of this hot pairing in the future. Well we finally have the pix, and as the picture above indicates they make a damn hot duo … from the neck up.

From the neck down, however, it is not so pretty. Here is the full shot, and it is such a shame to see such an ugly dress on such a lovely girl:

That shot is from the arrivals area, and it looks like her dresses improved drastically throughout the evening. Here are two more photos of Grace from the awards in dresses that are much more flattering:

I don’t know if I love the patterned one, but it is such a huge improvement over the trash bag in the first photo I am not going to think about it too much.

Grace is not the only BSG star to hit the red carpet this month. MeeVee has a cute interview with Mary McDonnell from the Pirates of the Caribbean 3 premiere:

MeeVee: Do you know any good pirate jokes?
Mary McDonnell: Oh yeah. Who’s a pirate’s least favorite Van Halen singer? Sammy Hagaaaarrrr!

I agree. That first dress is horrible. Get it to an airlock quick. What was she thinking?!

The pattern dress is cool. Not a typical “Hollywood” dress design, so points for that.

  2. SK Says:

Thank god she wears better stuff on the show! Is that dress made of Hefty Bags, or what?

  3. Heather Says:

Another vote for airlocking that first dress. It makes you wonder sometimes if stars go “Wow, this really does look great on me!” or if someone had to pay her to wear it. I’m hoping for the latter.

I also love the patterned one, I think it’s very flattering on her.

And *whew!* on the pic with Daniel Dae Kim!
