Lucy Lawless May Not Be Back For Season Four Afterall
When sexy Cylon Lucy Lawless hosted the Q&A at the Battlestar Galactica All Access event earlier this month it increased the speculation that Lucy would be back for Season Four of BSG. Her pilot, Football Wives, created a television industry surprise when it was not picked up after the Upfronts and her schedule looked clear. But that changed this week.
ABC extended its options on the actors’ contracts for Football Wives, including Lucy’s. Whether they did so to keep other networks from picking up the show or because they are looking to use Football Wives as a mid-season replacement is still in question, but one thing is for sure: it leaves Lucy unable to commit to an extended stay in Vancouver for BSG.
Still, all is not lost as Tanya Turner was one of the greatest bitches of all time and seeing Lucy play the part would be a lot of fun. Check out this post for more on the supercalicampalicious original series.
