Battlestar Galactica

This weekend is Comicon in San Diego, an event with many imitators but few (if any) equals. Movie studios, scifi stars, exhibitors and fans will be papering the city through Sunday for what one industry insider called “like Sundance, but cooler.” The weekend will include a BSG panel that includes Mary McDonnell, Katee Sackhoff, Tricia Helfer, and producers David Eick and Ron Moore. Lots of good spoilers and scifi news usually breaks at Comicon, so next week should yield some interesting information … until then, other Comicon controversies about funding and tax-status are food for thought.
