Leah_Cairns_88_Minutes_Racetrack_Battlestar_Galactica.jpg

Reviews have Al Pacino’s new movie 88 Minutes have been savagely negative, but there is one reason for Battlestar Galactica fans to go see it anyway: it features a “naked and limber” Leah Cairns. So if you liked that sports-bra strip poker scene with Racetrack and Anders in “Six of One,” then this may be the movie for you.

TV Addict got a serious scoop this week that includes serious Caprica spoilers, including some an excerpt from the words written for Joseph Adama in the current version of the script.

TVByTheNumbers.com has the ratings for the first three episodes of Season Four of Battlestar Galactica, which are looking pretty good all things considered.

Tricia Helfer (Number Six) and Callum Keith Rennie (Leoban) are both nominated for Leo Awards this year. Callum is nominated for the ensemble drama Normal, while Tricia is nominated for her well-reviewed dominatrix heist movie Walk All Over Me.

Callum will be answering forum questions about his movie Snow Cake in connection to the launch of the First Weekend Club, a DVD club for fans of movies made in Canada.

Brent Spiner, aka Data of Star Trek: The Next Generation, and Nicki Clyne had a cute exchange at FedCon last weekend:

Brent Spiner (STTNG): “I just wanted to say how proud I am of the work we do on Battlestar Galactica.” (Note: he’s not in the series and apparently doesn’t even know it)

Nicki Clyne (BSG): “It is so much fun working with Brent Spiner, the show wouldn’t be the same without him.”

Len Neighbors has posted volume three of So Say We All: The Battlestar Galactica Blog Carnival
. Most of the posts focus on last week’s episode, “The Ties That Bind” and include serious spoilers so do not click through if you have not seen the episode yet.

If you have seen the episode, be sure to check out the latest strip from webcomic Frakking Toasters, which accurately displays a lot of fans’ feelings about Cally Tyrol. Thanks to Jatg of Battlestar Blog for the head’s up.

If you have not seen the beach-bunny-in-leather-styled photos of Tricia Helfer, Katee Sackhoff, and Grace Park in this month’s Interview magazine yet, then FashionArtEdit is happy to help you out.

This is an interesting list of twenty moments where Battlestar Galactica characters have contemplated suicide.

On the lighter side, check out this bizarre 2006 clip of Nicki Clyne donning elf/alien ears as part of the web series Tiki Bar TV.

The cool Cylon photo above is courtesy of Mechazilla, the obsessive fan collector’s site. Speaking of courtesy, I sincerely appreciate everyone being patient with me this week while I have been posting sparsely and falling behind, we had a family medical emergency and I have been spending a lot of time with doctors who are (probably) not Cylons.

Nicki Clyne Cally Aaron Dougles Chief Tyrol Battlestar Galactica Married Secrets

Tonight is a new episode of Battlestar Galactica … if you watch the preview above and can’t wait for it to come on the air, then there will be plenty of chances to watch the episode today on the SciFi Channel web site.  I don’t know about you, but I definitely plan on checking Nicki Clyne’s blog this weekend because it looks like she has a major role in this episode.

Hulu has a new clip of various Battlestar cast and crew members talking about the end of the series, which is available below, but I would not watch it if you are actively avoiding spoilers.

There are still a few more hours to leave your questions for Michael Trucco (Anders) and Rekha Sharma (Tory) over on the scifi.com forums.  The chosen questions will be answered via video blog, in a continuation of the series of video blogs that the SciFi Channel has been releasing for Season Four of Battlestar Galactica.

If you did not get to attend the amazing concerts this weekend featuring Bear McCreary’s Battlestar music, there are plenty of recaps to be found around the Internet.  The Hollywood Reporter had high praise for the show, and anointed Bear McCreary’s blog “one of the best in the business.”

The Boston Herald has a new interview with Tricia Helfer, where she talks a bit about the final Cylon and how Head Six was her least favorite version of Six to play in Season Four.

Mary McDonnell post about plastic surgery

Check out this enjoyable list from Lisa Paitz Spindler of thirteen enjoyable things about Battlestar Galactica.  Meanwhile Gaius Baltar makes this list of Top Ten Screen Traitors, and rightly so.

And speaking of lists, Mary McDonnell and Michelle Forbes are rightfully included on Maureen Ryan’s list of amazing actresses who look their age and still look beautiful.  There have been several articles written this week about how the Hollywood obsession with plastic surgery is harming the audience’s ability to connect with certain characters and shows.  While it is not easy to make fun of someone’s efforts to improve their appearance, I am glad critics are finally speaking up about the fact that too much plastic surgery can actually harm the audience’s ability to care about a main character … it is hard to worry too much about plastic, after all.

A few of the funny, odd, or strange things that happened around the pop culture universe over the weekend:

Has Mary McDonnell had plastic surgery?  Gedblog reports, you decide.  Special thanks to this blog for the screencap from “Six of One,” I tried to pick one that was not a spoiler for folks who have not seen the episode yet.

Nicki Clyne lets us know she is still around and she is still blogging … she has just been doing Euro Cons.

Tony Dovolani, Marisa Jaret Winokur, Lucy Lawless from Xena and Battlestar Galactica at Dancing With the Stars Taping

Lucy Lawless has been sending tons of love to Dancing With the Stars contestant Marisa Jaret Winokur, attending at least one taping of the show and Marisa’s rehearsals.  If you are a Dancing fan, be sure to give all of your Dancing votes to Marissa … it’s interesting that while Lucy is a fan of Marisa, she is not a fan of the way the powers that be run Dancing With the Stars (”Who produces this show? Satan???”)

“What the frak!” made an appearance last week on 30 Rock, which literally rocked.

Looks like John McCain is finally getting some geek cred, as folks are starting to wonder if McCain is a Cylon.  Welcome to the party, John, people have been speculating about whether Hillary Clinton and Barak Obama are Cylons for months!  Although to give the guy credit, he has a better Cylon claim in the sense that he looks like Tigh and has a young blonde wife he likes to insult.

The folks over at Popnography have nicknamed the newest Cylons Pudgy, Pretty, Pouty, and Asshole . . . Anders is the pretty one.

Apparently George Clooney’s Leatherheads is so slow this reviewer kept him wondering about Cylons instead of what the end of the movie would be .  . . and while I am not enough of a hockey fan to understand this reference, apparently Deadspin thinks the Cylons have invaded the NHL too.

Nicki Clyne Blogs About the Letterman Taping

Nicki Clyne Aaron Douglas Letterman List Battlestar Galactica

Nicki Clyne was lucky enough to attend the taping of the Battlestar Galactica-themed Top Ten List for The Late Show With David Letterman

Nicki was then kind enough to blog about the experience, describing what it was like to watch the list from her seat in the live audience:

“while the top ten cast members spewed out tailor made one liners, I had the privilege of looking on from the audience like an over-enthusiastic honor roll parent.  it was really cool actually, and not just because David keeps that place chilled like the set of Happy Feet.  i don’t know why, maybe because it’s so nerve wracking being an audience member.  it’s possible that the icy atmosphere reduces stress levels as you attempt to laugh, clap, cheer and sigh at precisely the appropriate times and decibels.”

“i’m telling you, it’s a well oiled machine they’ve got running there, no room for human error or extravagance.  some girl actually got kicked out who was sitting behind me for an off kilter yelp, and no sooner did i turn around again that there was a grinning frat boy sitting in her place.  not to mention, i almost wasn’t even allowed to watch from the audience for fear that my “recognizability” would cause a ruckus.  right, because you know when i go to buy underwear at target, i get absolutely mobbed by paparazzi.”

You can read more about the taping on Nicki’s blog, where she revealed that after the show the cast got to hang out with some of the Letterman writers, many of whom are apparently fans of BSG

Blogger Charles Jurries was also lucky enough to be in the audience, and reports on this moment which was edited out of the broadcast:

“Another broadcast edit - and this is a major one - was during the Top 10 list with the cast of Battlestar Galactica. When Letterman was introducing Lieutenant Sharon Valeri, he messed up on the pronunciation of “Valeri” and kept trying to say it in different ways. It was fun, it was cute, and the actress seemed to take it in good spirits. And after the Top 10, Dave made another joke about him trying to pronounce the name. But, for whatever reasons, that was cut from broadcast as well.”

Grace Park Katee Sackhoff Tricia Helfer Letterman Show New York for Battlestar Galactica Top Ten Lis

The luck of the Irish spilled over a couple of days, as we are lucky enough to get to see these fun photos outside the Ed Sullivan Theater in New York where the cast of Battlestar Galactica taped a Top Ten list for the Late Show With David Letterman

Today we bring you a few more pictures of the cast in New York, both before and after their appearances on the show.  The picture at the left shows BSG stars Grace Park, Katee Sackhoff, and Tricia Helfer after their appearance on the show.

Tricia had initially arrived in full Six gear, wearing the white wig and red dress, and Grace entered the building in her fleet uniform.  Katee appears to have arrived in civilian clothing, much like Jamie Bamber who wore a dashing suit.

While you can’t see it in the photo to the left, Katee has a giant animal print bag on her arm that is even larger than Tricia’s chic black bag in this photo.  If anyone knows who makes the bag please let me know, as I have already had a couple people ask.

Also if anyone was at the taping, I would love to know the story behind the photo of Nicki Clyne, who plays Cally Tyrol.  It looks like she is doing a curtsy, but perhaps this is some sort of sobriety test parody?  Either way, the photo begs for some context!

There are more photos of the various Battlestar Galactica stars in before and after garb below, and of course be sure to check out yesterday’s post for more images.

Pictures from Battlestar Galactica Stars’ Letterman Appearance

Check out these adorable pictures of the cast of Battlestar Galactica as they enter the Ed Sullivan Theater in New York to tape the Top Ten List for tomorrow night’s Late Show with David Letterman tribute. The list will be BSG-themed, with each cast member reading one of the lists’ famous one-line jokes.

The photo above shows BSG stars Michael Hogan (Col. Saul Tigh), Jamie Bamber (Lee “Apollo” Adama), Mary McDonnell (President Laura Roslin), James Callis (Dr. Gaius Baltar), and Aaron Douglas (The Chief) outside the famed theater. We also see a grinning Grace Park (Sharon “Athena” Agathorn) entering the theater in her BSG uniform, while Jamie Bamber is wearing a suit - a contrast that is consistent with the fourth season promotional photos (as well as some of the early spoilers).

Some of the pictures showed Aaron Douglas and Michael Hogan in uniform as well, while Edward James Olmos (Admiral Bill Adama) wore a Battlestar Galactica pullover and many of the other stars wore street clothes. Whether those photos were taken before or after the show was filmed, however, is not always clear.

Below is a collection of photos from outside the theater, including a great photo of Edward James Olmos & Michael Hogan, and a shot of Katee Sackhoff (Kara “Starbuck” Thrace) carrying a ginormous zebra striped bag over her shoulder while signing autographs for fans. Tricia Helfer arrived in full Six regalia, including her famous white wig and killer red dress.

There is also a cuddly photo of Aaron Douglas with Nicki Cline, who plays his wife Cally. Nicki was not among the cast members listed by the SciFi Channel as appearing on the Late Show, so it is not clear if she was there to cheer on the cast or if she is making a surprise appearance.

In an interesting coincidence, Rainn Wilson from The Office was also on the scene at the same time as the BSG cast. Could the list contain a “Bears, Beets, Battlestar Galactica” reference?

Battlestar Galactica Quicklinks for March 9, 2008

Sunday, March 9th, 2008

Battlestar Galactica will be featured in TV Guide at the end of this month, potentially on the cover?  The news comes from Michael Trucco’s newly redesigned web site, which also has the scoop on the actor’s new comedy series Man of Your Dreams and his guest appearance on Eli Stone.

Michael Trucco Kate Vernon Battlestar Galactica Writers Strike Picket Line

In other Michael Trucco news, the fan who won the phone call from the man who plays Samuel Anders in the Pencils to Media Moguls campaign during the writers’ strike is kind enough to post about it here.  Rene had nothing but praise for Michael, and indicates that he is recovering well from the broken neck he suffered a few months ago.  He was definitely up and about in early February, when he and Battlestar Galactica cast member Kate Vernon (Ellen Tigh) walked the picket lines with Ron Moore and the other writers on the show.

Aaron Douglas will shed his Chief Tyrol persona to play another soldier in the upcoming remake of The Day the Earth Stood Still which stars Keanu Reeves and Jennifer Connelly.  John Cleese, Kathy Bates and future Hollywood royalty Jaden Smith are all rumored to be attached to the project as well, as is fellow BSG cast member Alisen Down.

Tahmoh Penikett, who plays Helo, has a new interview out this month that features photos from Season Four and the actor’s musings on his character’s feelings about the various developments of the series.  Thanks to the always-reliable Justine for posting scans of the interview, and linking to some previously undiscovered behind-the-scenes photos from Season One which were recently posted on Battlestar Blog.

According to this LiveJournal post, Nicki Clyne and Allisen Mack have some new friends.  Meanwhile, at least one more person wants to make friends with Grace Park, as her turncoat Cylon character makes Entertainment Weekly’s list of Television Characters You Would Like to Date.

Leah Cairns Racetrack Battlestar Galactica

Calling all Racetrack fans!  The official Leah Cairns web site launched this week over at leahcairns.com, and features great photos like the one above as well as interviews, family photos, and upcoming convention appearances.

Obama is a Cylon?  Maybe, maybe not but Battlestar Galactica fans who are also political junkies will probably get a kick out of this photo of Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton’s heads photoshopped on Apollo and Starbuck’s bodies.

Aaron Douglas Chief Tyrol Battlestar Galactica Doll GalacticaSitRep

GalacticaSitRep is running a contest to give away two of the Chief Tyrol dolls that were recently issued by Diamond Select Toys.  If you are a fan of the Chief, his alter ego Aaron Douglas, or just like cool toys be sure to check it out.

Speaking of Aaron, Battlestar Blog found this interesting clip of Aaron, Callum Keith Rennie, and Gerard Butler from 300 in the movie Shattered.

In other Battlestar Galactica toy news, apparently fans will have the option to buy a life sized Cylon sometime in the near future.  Perfect for that odd space in the corner where your interior decorator says you need "something tall."

If you like fan fiction, you should check out Admiral Adama’s live journal page which takes the concept to the next level.  This may be the wave of the future for dedicated fan writers, who are not satisfied with the idea of writing a story and want to explore a character even further over time.

Be sure to check out this nice note on Nicki Clyne’s blog, pondering how fans can provide positive connections in this mixed up crazy world.

Note from Margie: 451 Press is still having trouble with its comments, so please be aware that if you leave a comment it will likely be marked as spam.  If you would like to make sure your comment reaches the blog, please e-mail me through the Contact form or by contacting watchingbsg@gmail.com and I will be happy to post it for you.

Edward James Olmos at New LATC

Edward James Olmos was in Los Angeles last weekend to promote the New LATC and diversity in general.  He has also been invited to the 30th anniversary of WPFW Radio in Washington, D.C. on the 15th of December.

Before he went on strike with the Writer’s Guild of America, Battlestar Galactica executive producer Ron Moore was kind enough to stop by the SciFi.com message boards and answer some questions from fans.  Among the gems are spoilers for Season Four and a scene that could have been included in the episode "Unfinished Business" to explain why Starbuck would sleep with Lee Adama one night and then marry Anders the next morning.

Coyote Squirrel articulates the guilt that a lot of Battlestar Galactica fans are feeling this week, now that we know the network did not want to pay the Battlestar Galactica cast and crew for the webisodes.  We want to know what happens to poor young Adama, but in the current climate we feel a little dirty about that.

Lucy Lawless recently sold her L.A. home for $4.8 million, making a nice profit over what she had originally purchased the house for in 1998.

Aaron Douglas will be MC’ing an event on November 24 in Vancouver, so be sure to stop by if you are in the area.

Nicki Clyne makes a cute confession in her most recent blog post, that she was recently embarrassed by a fan who asked her if Aaron Douglas’ (Chief Tyrol) spine glows.

Variety posted an early review of Razor that was mostly positive, while Watch with Kristin reveals some essential things to know before watching the show.   Among Kristin’s tips?  Have patience with the first fifteen minutes, because it definitely gets better, and be prepared that you will only see a few of the regular Battlestar cast members.  But it is worth it, she swears … but unless you are lucky enough to attend one of the theatrical screenings this Monday night, you will just have to wait and find out with the rest of us on November 24th.

EJO___Gary_Hutzel.jpg

GalacticaTV.com has an interesting interview with Battlestar Galactica special effects supervisor Gary Hutzel, shown with Edward James Olmos in the photo above. Gary reveals Razor spoilers and Cylon creation information, as well as some great pictures from the upcoming movie.

Ron Moore has announced he will direct one of the episodes in the final season of Battlestar Galactica. It is one of the later episodes of the season, and things aboard ship are interesting … especially between Roslin and Adama. Whether Ron’s definition of “interesting” is the same as the Roslin/Adama shippers remains to be seen.

Tricia Helfer’s dominatrix film, Walk All Over Me, has an official release date: December 5 at various theaters across Canada. Also Tricia’s blog has some fun pictures of Tricia that her husband took backstage at the Scream Awards, including this cute picture of her with Star Trek legend William Shatner.

Tricia_Helfer_William_Shatner.JPG

GalacticaSitRep.com found an interview where Katee Sackhoff talks to her hometown paper about how she wishes she never started smoking (she quit between seasons two and three of Battlestar) and how fighting Tricia’s Number Six is more fun than fighting Michelle Ryan’s Bionic Woman.

Nicki Clyne blogs about her recent trip to Australia for Supernova, where she famously performed karoke with Nick Brendon of Buffy the Vampire Slayer fame.

Some political blogger compares Edward James Olmos to Mount Rushmore, or maybe to the antithesis of John Edwards’ hair … depending on how you read it.

Justine, the hardworking blogger over at All About Tahmoh Penikett, has kindly offered to e-mail non-Canadians scenes from Tahmoh’s appearance on the Canadian show Whistler. She also has the link for Canadians who can watch Tahmoh’s part online.

Battlestar_Galactica_Season_3_CD.jpg

La La Land Records has the soundtrack for Battlestar Galactica’s Season Three for sale.

Battlestar writer Jane Espenson reveals she does not have perfect recall of all of the many details that make up the Battlestar universe, and has to rely on the other writers in the writers room to keep her in line.

BSG Fun: Nicki Clyne Karoke With Nick Brendon From BTSV

Monday, October 22nd, 2007

Last week was pretty craptastic for me in real life, so I am not ashamed to admit I was grinning like a happy chimpanzee while I watched this clip from YouTube. Nicki Clyne, aka Battlestar Galactica’s Cally Tyrol, appeared at Australia’s Supernova con last weekend and managed to squeeze in a giggly goofy duet with Nicholas Brendon while she was on stage. Nicholas, aka Nick, is best known for playing the understated everyhero Xander on Buffy the Vampire Slayer, and while he clearly does not have as much stage experience as Nicky he manages to hold his own here … very impressive, especially considering this song has some killer high notes.

The song is “A Little Respect” by the 80s pop band Erasure, and watch at your own risk. The band writes killer hooks that can get stuck in your head for days, so much so that there is a whole episode of Scrubs that features this song working its way through the hospital like a virus. The episode, entitled “My Best Friend’s Mistake,” is popularly viewed as one of the best of the series’ first season.

Back to Battlestar Galactica, if you are not afraid of songs getting stuck in your head, be sure to check out this YouTube music video of Nicki Clyne in “The Laws Have Changed.” And if you are a Nicki fan, be sure to read her blog post about the experience as well, or you can see her reading independent comics by clicking this link here.

Battlestar Galactica Quick News for October 18, 2007

Razor_Jamie_Katee_Stephanie.jpg

New Razor photos have been released, including the picture of new girl Kendra Shaw with Lee “Apollo” Adama and Kara “Starbuck” Thrace that is posted above. To see more photos, including several that look very spoiler-esque, head over to ScifiStream.com.

Battlestar Galactica writer Mark Verheiden recently blogged about a moment from Season Four that implies Nicki Clyne’s recent choral obsession may have been inspired by something that happened on set.

As season four and Razor draw nearer, many Battlestar Galactica fans find themselves remembering thoughts and theories that were lying dormant during the hiatus. To kick start your musings, check out this amazing post about the symbolism and synchronization in Battlestar Galactica … including the observation that the crescent-shaped Cylon raider looks remarkably like the image on the fleet’s shield.

That’s looking forward … if you want to look back then you should check out the scans of Jamie Bamber’s introduction to the season three companion book.

Edward James Olmos is included on this blogger’s list of famous people with dyslexia.

You can find some cool short films and other BSG related things at Battlestar Fanfilms.com.

Katee_Monkey_Face.jpg

Paul at Toy Bender has a preview of the new Battlestar Galactica toys, including this rather disturbing one of Starbuck that Paul has described as having a “monkey face.” Personally I think it is the lips that are the problem, they look like Katee crossed with a Joan Rivers caraciture.

David Eick gave a recent interview in which he said that he and Ron Moore are still waiting to hear the fate of the Battlestar Galactica spinoff, Caprica.

Help BSG Stars Support Breast Cancer Research

Sunday, October 7th, 2007

nickiclynewithbear.jpg

Battlestar Galactica stars Nicki Clyne, who plays Cally Tyrol, and Mark Sheppard, who played Baltar’s eclectic attorney Romo Lampkin, have autographed Avon Breast Cancer Awareness teddy bears which are currently up for auction on E-bay. Any bids you place on these collectible bears will help support breast cancer research and the “Save the Boobs!” campaign.

The bear sale is coordinated by Lisa Spodak of LisaWalks.com, who has over fifty autographed items up for auction on Ebay right now. When I checked this morning the bear signed by Joe Flanigan from Stargate: Atlantis was (by far) the most popular, inspiring over thirty bids and going for more than $200.

jamescalliswithbear.jpg

The bear from T.R. Knight, who plays George on Grey’s Anatomy, was in second place in terms of asking price, followed closely by bears signed by Oliver Phelps, who plays one of the Weasley Twins in the Harry Potter movies, knighted actor Sir Ian McKellen, Heroes‘ hottie cheerleader Hayden Panttierre, and Anthony Stewart Head who played Giles on Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Other items for sale are autographed by Morena Baccarin and Alan Tudyk from Firefly and Serenity, Michael C. Hall from Dexter and Six Feet Under, and Sean Astin from the Lord of the Rings trilogy.

graceparkwithbear.jpg

Previous bear auctions by Lisa have included items autographed by Battlestar Galactica stars Nicki Clyne (Cally Tyrol), James Callis (Dr. Giaus Baltar), Jamie Bamber (Lee “Apollo” Adama), Mary McDonnell (President Laura Roslin), Grace Park (Boomer/Sharon/Athena), Edward James Olmos (Admiral Adama), Tricia Helfer (Number Six/Gina), Michael Hogan (Col. Tigh), Kandyse McClure (Anastasia “Dee” Dualla), Aaron Douglas (Chief Tyrol), and Tahmoh Penikett (Karl “Helo” Agathon).

BSG Quicklinks for August 29, 2007

Wednesday, August 29th, 2007

Nicky_Clyne.jpg

Nicki Clyne, aka Cally Tyrol, usually has some interesting comments on her personal blog … for example, she recently talked about her fascination with a capella choirs.

The Chicago Sun-Times put Katee Sackhoff at the top of their list of stars who they predict will breakout big this year based on her steller performance on NBC’s Bionic Woman. Last year they predicted Hayden Panettiere and Masi Oka from Heroes would be huge by this summer, so they are pretty good at this game. Good luck Katee!

Speaking of Heroes, here is an interesting comparison for folks who are fans of both Heroes and BSG … one fan discusses how Ali Larter’s characters remind her of two versions of Number Six:

Jessica is more like head!Six, with the violent tendencies, manipulation and no-nonsense attitude. Whereas Niki is more Caprica-Six for being pragmatic, sensible and understanding/having more compassion.

Colm Feore, who played the president of the Twelve Colonies at the time they were destroyed, has landed the role of First Husband on the next season of 24.

Cinematical mentions those Jamie Bamber casting rumors for the new live action Justice League movie … but it is hard to tell how serious they are.

Nicki Clyne’s a Rock Star!

Monday, July 30th, 2007

Check out this video of Nicki Clyne shaking it! According to her blog, that’s really Nicki singing the chorus in “The Laws Have Changed” and that is definitely her rocking out on stage. She sounds good and the whole video has a decidedly 80’s feel, including the dancing, so of course I loved it. That said, the name of the band is The New Pornographers and after watching way too much Law & Order: SVU this weekend the name kinda creeps me out.

Nicki plays Cally Tyrol on BSG, and in the last episode of Season Three it was revealed that her husband is a Cylon. This means her baby is actually a second Cylon/human hybrid, an amazing thought when compared to the focus and attention that has been lavished on Hera. This weekend at Comicon someone asked producer and writer Ron Moore about the fate of the hybrid children, and he replied that Hera will be important to the story of Season Four but implied the Tyrol child may glide through unnoticed … which in the violent atmosphere of Galactica, potentially implies he will also go unscathed? This could be good news for the Tyrols, especially Cally, who has been close to death at the hands of the writers more than once during the series. If her baby survives, perhaps Cally will survive as well. It’s all guessing at this point, but right now we can hope that Cally Tyrol survives long enough to rock her way to Earth.
