In honor of the holiday week, here is a cute clip of Battlestar Galactica’s Grace Park (Boomer/Athena) making a “Cylon Shooter” for Tahmoh Penikett (Helo). Remember folks, don’t drink and drive!
The Battlestar Galactica Swimsuit Edition is back! Hawt pix of our favorite scifi stars first hit this blog the Friday before Memorial Day, and to celebrate Independence Day watchingbsg.com is bringing back the hawt pic love. Like the previous version, this post not strictly limited to swimsuits; but like the previous version, I doubt anyone will mind too much.
These two pix above are from the Stuff magazine shoot of Tricia Helfer and the other ladies starring in the Charlie’s Angels telemovie a few years ago … Tricia, of course, had the Farrah role.
Just a reminder that tonight’s the night to catch Battlestar Galactica’s Grace Park on the AZN Network, where she will be hosting the Asian Excellence Awards with Lost’s Danial Dae Kim.
The awards show starts at 7 p.m., and you can catch the arrivals at the red carpet special at 6 p.m. on E!
This weekend is Memorial Day in the States, and Memorial Day traditionally marks the opening of swimming pools around the country. Swimming pools mean swimsuits, so in honor of the three day weekend on the horizon we are doing a BSG Swimsuit Edition!
A few drool-worthy photos to help you pass the time on this anticipatory Friday … while, admittedly, some of these garments are not designed for swimming and would not really hold up in a pool we are confident you won’t mind.
To give the men some credit, you may remember that BSG’s Lee Adama, otherwise known as Jamie Baber, was an Internet honoree for People’s Sexiest Man Alive in 2006.
Thoughts on who’s hot & who’s not? Let me know, or if you just like a little T&A on a Friday let me know that as well and I will see what I can dig up for next week.
On Saturday we talked about how Grace Park was hosting the Asian Excellence Awards with Daniel Dae Kim from Lost this year, and the hope was to post some pix of this hot pairing in the future. Well we finally have the pix, and as the picture above indicates they make a damn hot duo … from the neck up.
From the neck down, however, it is not so pretty. Here is the full shot, and it is such a shame to see such an ugly dress on such a lovely girl:
That shot is from the arrivals area, and it looks like her dresses improved drastically throughout the evening. Here are two more photos of Grace from the awards in dresses that are much more flattering:
I don’t know if I love the patterned one, but it is such a huge improvement over the trash bag in the first photo I am not going to think about it too much.
Grace Park hosted the Asian Excellence Awards this week in Los Angeles, joining Lost’s Daniel Dae Kim at the podium as MC’s for the evening.
Although Grace lost out to Mandy Kaling from “The Office” in the “Best Supporting Actress” category, the event got her some great press. Check out this interview with the New York Post, where she talks about her feelings on the Asian community and wanting to become a Mom some day — right after she wears some killer dresses designed by Vivienne Tam.
No real spoilers in the article, but Grace did warn fans to not expect too much of the regular cast members in the two-hour special that is being filmed this month. She said with 22 episodes ordered there is a good chance this is the last season but hopefully fans will get to see Earth before the end. Grace’s best guess for what Earth will be like on BSG: Blade Runner-esque.
The awards will be broadcast on the AZN Network on Memorial Day, Monday April 28, at 7 p.m. CST. There will also be a pre-show on E! which may be fun to watch as well. Grace looked pretty hot in the pictures from the event, so I will try to get those up soon.
If you enjoy talking and thinking about the people, places, philosophies, and personalities over on New Caprica then this is the site for you. Whether you have been watching BSG from the beginning or just ordered the pilot from Netflix last week, watchingbsg.com is a great place to visit.
