Battlestar Galactica’s Mark Verheiden to be Keynote Speaker at VidFest

Battlestar Galactica producer and writer Mark Verheiden will be the keynote speaker at VidFest, the annual digital media celebration in Vancouver.
This is the brief bio of Mark on the conference site, which fails to mention he is also writing the big screen version of Teen Titans:
Mark Verheiden’s past writing credits include the features TIMECOP and THE MASK, as well as MY NAME IS BRUCE, due out in 2007. He has written several best selling comic book series, including ALIENS and SUPERMAN/BATMAN, and he was co-executive producer for the first three seasons of SMALLVILLE. He is currently co-executive producer on the Peabody Award winning series BATTLESTAR GALACTICA.
Tickets for all three days are $300 if purchased before September 5th, and the event will take place September 22-25.
