Anne Cofell Saunders leaves BSG for NBC

BSG Anne Cofell Saunders is heading to the Peacock net to write for a new fall show called “Chuck.” The blog over at Battlestar Wiki broke the story, and Michael Hinman at SyFyPortal has more details. You may also want to check out the interview he did with Saunders and Jane Espenson earlier this Spring.

NBC went heavy on the scifi for the fall. “Chuck” is an hour long “scifi comedy” which is may be a tough sell. Out of the cast, the most recognizable scifi name is Adam Baldwin of “Firefly” fame. Here is the clip of the new show from NBC, which has a few funny lines but definitely needs some work … of course if this hire is any indication they know that, which is good.
